Our Customer’s Mission:
The Marine Corps University (MCU) is a military education university of the United States Marine Corps. Hosted in a unified data center, MCU’s Information Technology services are delivered through a wired .edu network and domain, as well as a wireless “Bring Your Own Device” network. Epsilon provides Information Technology services for the MCU including network and systems, data center, service desk, cybersecurity, and audio visual/video teleconferencing.
 
An average day:
As a Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer III, you will manage and maintain M365 services and assist senior leadership with utilization of the Power BI tool suite. You will also respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve tier III issues relating to the M365 Application suite including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI and Power BI Dashboards. You will manage upgrades, conduct patching, and perform STIGs to ensure peripheral security. Additionally, in this position you will:
  • Be accountable for all elements of M365 services, including maintenance, design, and implementation of new features and upgrades.
  • Interface with senior management and leadership to advise on complex technical deployments, provide guidance navigating M365 products and features, and establish best practices for implementations. 
  • Design and develop solutions for M365 application access and use. Manage user and application permissions, assist and train end users with utilization of M365 Applications (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Provide technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments and establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Regularly monitor the M365 services to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support to users and address any service-related issues.
  • Assess existing technology and workflows within the organization to identify necessary adaptations for seamless M365 integration.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage M365 as part of the University’s (EDU) Network.
  • Work with the Cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with security policies and meet security goals. 
Basic Qualifications:
  • As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with  8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification compliance is required (Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, CND, GICSP, CCNA Security or GSEC).
  • Must hold a current Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or other M365 Intermediate or advanced certification.
  • 2-4 years' experience managing M365 environments.
  • Must have expertise with the functionality of the M365 Power BI tool suite, as you will be working directly with senior level leadership and high-ranking Gov’t personnel to develop their understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power BI Dashboards
  • Must have Active Directory (AD) or Azure Active Directory (AAD) and M365 technical experience.
  • Working knowledge of or direct experience with Azure Cloud environments.
  • Must have the ability to think and act critically when faced with decisions that may significantly impact the MCU environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences and provide concise status updates.
  • Azure Cloud administration experience is preferred.
  • SQL Database experience is preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • Must hold active DOD Interim Secret or Secret Clearance
  • May mentor or train other team members.
