May 11th 2017

WEAVERVILLE, NC –  The F-35 Lightning II Program is a joint, multi-national program and is the DoD focal point for defining affordable next generation strike aircraft weapon systems among the United States (U.S.) Air Force (USAF), U.S. Navy (USN), U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), and U.S. allies composed of eight cooperative international partners. The program’s objective is to develop and deploy the F-35 Air System, a three (3) variant family of highly common and affordable 5th Generation strike fighter aircraft that meets the operational needs of the USAF, USN, USMC, and cooperative partner international services.  On March 30, 2017, Epsilon was awarded a firm fixed price, $6,455,138.75 value task order by F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) to build out and support a lifecycle refresh of the core IT infrastructure. Through this project, Epsilon’s personnel will enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the F-35 JPO.

As part of this effort, Epsilon personnel will upgrade network and server components for all CONUS JSF locations.

“We have supported the JSF program since 2013 as a subcontractor on several other contracts,” said Peter Penzell, CEO of Epsilon, Inc.  “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to go in as a Prime contractor and really make a positive impact to the program.”
